Is India’s father, Mahatma Gandhi, beyond criticism? He played a decisive role in India’s independence, but does that absolve him of all the various other transgressions?In India, Mahatma Gandhi is considered untouchable, literally speaking. Even the Courts have dictated that accusing Bapu of anything negative could lead to the jail sentence. Whether it is Mahatma Gandhi or someone ordinary, the constitution says everyone is equal. If I can applaud him for helping India gain freedom, I should be allowed to point out where he went astray…
Take away the freedom fighter in Gandhi and all that remains is a man full of all kinds of desires.

Gandhi advised people to live a simple life while he himself.when in jail, enjoyed the company of three women in the premises to serve him in every way.
Gandhi was responsible for initiating various ‘Andolans’ against the British Government but never took it to it conclusion. After only a few months of protest, Gandhi withdrew most of them. It defeated the purpose. What about the sacrifices of all those people who took part in the Andolans? In addition, he never led from the front. Even Gandhi’s own sons were against his philosophies.
Gandhi used to say that Subhash Chandra Bose was like his own son, but the Mahatma went on hunger strike in an attempt to oust him from the congress party. Isn’t these double standards? Gandhi even promised the British government that if they found Bose, they would hand him over to the authorities.
He kept people in the dark. He claimed he was trying to save Bhagat Singh, however, the truth was different. He never contacted the VICEROY about the Bhagat Singh issue. Such hidden intentions were revealed by a friend of the VICEROY & Bhagat Singh, named MANMATH NATH. Gandhi feared the growing popularity of Bhagat Singh, he was insecure and nervous.
Mahatma Gandhi said India’s partition would happen over his dead body. However, the truth was that Gandhi himself proposed and agreed to the formation of Pakistan.
Mahatma Gandhi once said: ”I am born to fulfill the laws of caste.” Should a father of the nation be mentioning caste as his agenda?
Gandhi did not open a single door of a Hindu temple in Gujarat, his home province in India, for the UNTOUCHABLES.
